Jesus Names Mug in glossy white
How easy is it to just mentally wander, scrolling, watching the news, looking at ads or funny memes?
This puts someone else in control of attention and focus. They influence me. They tell me what to think about.
Yet, Hebrews 12:2 tells us to keep on fixing our thoughts on Jesus.
John 3:14 tells us that believing in Jesus involves looking at him.
Roman 12:2 tells us to renew our minds.
Colossians 3:2 tells us to keep setting our minds on things above.
Philippians 4:8 tells to think about whatever is excellent and praiseworthy.
So how do we do that? What tools will help us work on those inner postures? What aids and collections will guide our attention?
One way is to review the many names given in Scripture. What about during a coffee break, or early morning time with God, or with friends and family?
This mug brings together 23 names, along with the Scripture reference, so you can go look it up and dig deeper, reading the context and meditating on the connections.

Oddly enough, just having them on the mug isn’t enough. It’s easy to read a book, watch a video, get caught up in a conversation, and then time is up and off we go. It takes intentional effort to look at the words and read them thoughtfully.
